House System

The House System is designed to embody the values and ethos of the school and aims to be an integral part of our school community. 

House Organisation:  Every student on admission is placed in one of these houses. Each house is headed by a House Captain and Vice-Captain. Each house has a House Incharge and several House-Teachers. The students representing their Houses also score points for their creativity, teamwork, theme presentation, narration and expressions. Points are awarded to the students throughout the year for participation in extra-curricular activities and sports. At the end of the year the House gaining the highest number of points wins? The Best House Trophy? The names of the Houses represent the Four Missiles of India. 

1.Agni – Red Colour
2.Brahmos - Blue colour
3. Prithvi – Yellow colour
4. Trishul – Green colour

Benefits of the School House System include:
1.The system is inclusive of all learners and includes sporting, academic and artistic endeavours.
2.Promotes positive self-esteem, self-identity, belonging, integrity and pride amongst all students.
3.Peer support to help promote positive mental health.
4.Promotion of student responsibility and student voice team work, cooperation, communication, leadership skills. skills valued for job applications and better preparation for future employment.
5.Constant and consistent encouragement for students to achieve their best.
6.Develop a common goal between school staff and students.​​

The four different houses are Spring, Autumn, Rainy, Sunny. These names are selected based on the climatic conditions of our nation which shows our nation’s wide diversity.

The Houses conduct In-House Activities during Sports hour. Houses also take in-charge of decorating the school campus in turns.
